Challange #155 - Food or Drink

Happy Monday everyone!  Welcome to our new challenge this week.  Tammy here bringing you the challenge: this week we are going to play with food and drink!  All of us do it, and now we want to see it.  Show us your projects that have anything to do with eating or drinking.

Tammy
This week I did a layout of a trip to England I did several years ago.  One of my favorite places that I visited was the Maple Leaf pub in Covent Garden.  A pub owned and operated by Canadians, where you could get all kinds of Canadian favorites including Alberta Beef, Poutine and Molson Canadian Beer!

Well I got to admit I do not how to use these October Afternoon stickers but now they come in handy! So, here's my take this week - a strawberry and some food word related stickers!

Amanda

My best friend and I love this Chocolate Lava Cake served at Chili's Restaurant!

Challenge #154: Sketch Challenge

This week's challenge is a sketch challenge.
I found this sketch over at Page Maps and just fell in love with it!
It can easily be turned into a card as well as using it for a scrapbook layout.
Here's the sketch, and my take on it:

Hope you have fun with it!  Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Don't forget to link up your entry so we can see your wonderful projects.

Challenge #153-Highlights

Thanks to all who played along in the Back to School challenge.  What great projects you all made! I had a difficult time choosing highlights to post today as all the projects were great.  Here are the ones I chose.

Heidi
Love this card by Heidi.  It is so difficult to find boy images.  She did a great job on a masculine back to school card.

Marilyn

Love the coloring and the design on the sweet card by Marilyn. Great job!

Sue

Love this first day of school teacher gift by Sue.  So very creative!

Thanks again to all who played!

Challenge #153-Back to School

Hello All!  Renee here with your challenge this week.  For the last month or so, I have seen tons of back to school pictures on my Facebook stream.  I loved looking at all the great pictures! Now that the kiddo's are all settled and "back to school," let's celebrate this time of year with back to school projects.  For our challenge this week, let's make a project that is inspired by heading back to school.  You can make a layout with your back to school pictures as I did, or make a card or other project that puts you in the mind of reading, writing and arithmetic.

So, lets see what you guys can come up with.  Here is my layout celebrating the last "first day of school" for my high school and college seniors.

Here's my creation, for a little boy who's graduating from kindergarten in November. Well, there you have some numbers & pencils pattern paper and doodle washi tape, representing school elements

Amanda

This is the closest I have to anything school related right now that I am working on! In 2010 I had my first experience as a Clinical Instructor for a physiotherapy student. It was definitely different to be on that side of the equation! This is a layout of my student and I on her last day of placement - after that she was heading back to classes.

Challenge #152 Highlights

Thanks to those crafters who played along in the 'border punch' challenge.  It was fun to look at all your creations and so many ideas on how border punch could be used. It was difficult to chose for this post :) Nonetheless here are my highlights from the challenge.

Stampartpapel - This is just beautiful! Love how classic this creation is!
UNA CUBIERTA PARA AGENDA

Julie T - Don't you agree this is just too darn cute! Great use of the big punch effect for the card! Great job!

Sandra - Love how she had used the punches on the patterned paper as well as on the base cardstock. Elegant!

Thank you all for playing along this challenge!

Challenge #152 - Border Punch

Hello all, Michelle here. This week is my turn and the theme is Border Punch. You are supposed to use at least one border punch. Here's my take with 2 border punches. Can you spot them? Do share with us with what you have for this theme and have fun!

Amanda

For this layout I used my Creative Memories border punch for the pumpkin rows!

Oh it's been awhile since I used border punches so I had fun with this.  This is one of my favorites.

Challenge #151 - Brads

Amanda here with this week's challenge. I am sure you all have brads at home - I seem to have a ton! I generally use them as centres of my flowers but rarely use them for anything else lately. For this project I found some fun shaped brads that coordinated with my papers and "sprinkled" them throughout the layout of my son and I.

Michelle
True enough I quite a fair bit in my stash too! And I rarely use them. Here are 2 on my card to go along with the orangy background!

We would also like to introduce you to our Guest Designer this month Jen
She created this great layout for our brad challenge.  Be sure to click on her name to be taken to her blog and check out her wonderful projects.

Anne

Renee
Brads are one of those things that I almost never use.  Seems like if I want something round, I always grab an enamel dot.  Glad to use up a bit more from my stash.

This week we are also celebrating our 3rd Blogversary! For the last three years we have tried to inspire you and challenge you to use up all your scrapping supplies and create some wonderful memories and projects and to share those with us so that we can experience them with you.

Thank you to all of our wonderful followers and participants who play along with us each week and motive and impress us with your creations.  Everyone that plays along with us this week will be entered in to win a prize that is being sponsored by our own DT member Tammy.  International participants are always welcome so show us what you can do with this week's challenge!
